I always find it hard creating cards just for men. I am not talking little boys here just the big ones (if they ever grow up). Here is one I made using Cricut Wild Cards Cart. It is quite simple but I think it came out well enough.
I'm thinkin' it turned out better than "well enough" I love it and you are so right, it is tough making cards for guys! Maybe I need to look into that Wild Card cart for the next one to get. My son (17yo) would love this one, he loves argyle.
