Celebrate The Occasion #40: Thanksgiving

Hello Everyone,

There is a new challenge over at Celebrate the Occasion. This week our Challenge is to make something for Thanksgiving, but you must use buttons. My family and I are not big turkey lovers so I usually make a chicken for our Thanksgiving dinner so I thought I would 'make' a turkey for this card so at least there will be one turkey done in my house this year.

What was used:
Cricut Create A Critter
DCWV The Ultimate Stack
Cardstock: DCWV and  Recollection
Buttons from my stash
Ribbon from my stash
Stickles
Chalk Ink

I hope you will stop by to see what the DT have created to inspire you and be sure to link up your projects so we can see your creations too.

Happy Scrapping!

Celebrate The Occasion Challenge #38: Veteran's Day

Hello everyone,

Its time for another challenge over at Celebrate the Occasion. Our theme this week is Veteran's Day.

I have often shared that I have three sisters who are serving in the British Army and have had their share of serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. They were the inspiration for this card which I have made to celebrate all the women serving in the armies around the world.

This does not mean I do not salute all the men, brothers, husbands, fathers serving in the military, because I also have a brother in the military too.

I love the words on this stamp I think it was so appropriate for this card.

What was used:
Cricut Stand and Salute
The Paper Company Studio 'You Go Girl' Stamp Set
Cardstock: Recollections & Bazzil
Recollections Pink Camo (Green Camo in the background)
Ink

Help us show support to the vets. To all vets and families of vets THANKS for your service.

Happy Scrapping!
Judy
