CTO Challenge #93: Christmas! Anything Goes

Hello everyone,

Its time for another Christmas challenge over at Celebrate the Occasion. This week were are taking some of the stress of and just want you to share those beautiful cards or projects. Anything Goes!

This is also my last project as part of the CTO design team. I have been so lucky to have worked with such talented ladies, thanks for the inspiration ladies.

For my project this week I made two versions of the same card. I can't decide which one I like better.

The ornaments were made using  a Stampin' Up stamp set and framelits dies. I just love this set! I took a class with my SU demonstrator to make a this gorgeous ornament using the set. It took 2.5 hours but totally worth it!

CTO Challenge #92: Christmas

Hello everyone,

Just 2 weeks left for Christmas! I have been very late with sending out my Christmas cards this year. I have to really get busy if I still plan to get them out.

This weeks challenge at Celebrate the Occasion will hopefully inspire you to get creating your own cards to send out. Our theme is Christmas but you MUST use a punch.

I used a digital stamp from our sponsor this month from Floppy Latte Design called Reindeer Silhouette. I used craft paper for the first time on a Christmas card, paired it with Martha Stewart Holly Punch and I like the way it turned out.

What was used:
Floppy Latte Designs Reindeer Silhouette digi stamp
Martha Stewart Holly Border Punch
The Homemade Christmas Paper Stack
Recollections Cardstock
Tim Holtz and Ranger Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Tim Holtz and Ranger Fired Brick Distress Ink
Hero Art Holiday Sayings Stamp Set
Spellbinders Labels 4 small
Red ribbon fro my stash

Just a reminder that we are having a Design Team call at Celebrate the Occasion and you can participate in this week's challenge and show off your punches.

Happy Scrapping!

CTO Challenge #90: Thanksgiving

Hello Everyone,

I hope you have fully recovered from Thanksgiving celebrations and that you have a lovely time with your families and didn't have too much to eat.

This week our theme at Celebrate the Occasion is Thanksgiving and we are challenging you to share a thanksgiving projects but you MUST use three buttons.

The image I used is from our sponsor for this month, Bugaboo Stamps. I used Turkey Give Thanks image.

The idea for this card came from my friend and Stampin' Up enabler, Michelle. She is very creative and I really like this idea and lifted it from her. You can visit her blog HERE and also check out her Stampin' Up Online store HERE.

The card is a twisted card and is quite an interesting shape. I used the base as a portrait shape but if it is used in the landscape format you can use it as a gift card holder. The card started with a 4 1/2 X 11 piece of paper then score the card from one corner to the opposite corner, fold along the score line then fold the card in half.

What was used:
Bugaboo Digi Stamps, Turkey Give Thanks
Copic Markers
Spellbinders Labels 4
Recollections Night and Fall Paper Pad
My Minds Eye Sunshine 6 X 6 Paper Pad
Recollections Cardstock
Ranger/Tim Holtz Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink
Recollections Ribbon
Devine Twine
Buttons from my stash

I really love the shape of this card, I will really have to try it out as a gift card holder for another project.  Please stop by CTO and join in with us this week.

Happy Scrapping!
