I am an Instructor!

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to share with you some really exciting news. I guess the title of this post gave it away but I am now a scrapbook instructor!

I was employed by Michaels Arts and Crafts to be the scrapbook instructor at their Cupertino, CA branch. BUT that's not all! I am also doing a few classes at another scrapbook store called Memories Live On.  I am really loving this new step in my scrapbooking hobby and love that I can share its infection with more people out there.

You can click on the links in this post or on my sidebar to find out about my classes. If you are in the neighborhood I would love to meet you in person.

Melt Down Page

Hello everyone,

I would love to share my latest page with you. I have not been doing any pages for awhile and I have 100 pictures printed on my desk to crop. I also wanted to participate in the challenge at Celebrate the Occasion so I combined the two. Their theme is Any Occasion must use polkadots.

The pictures are of my daughter, I was just trying to get a cute picture of her with her cute clips but I guess I took a few too many pictures, she got totally fed up with me. I also followed a sketch from my Page Maps 2 book.

I am also trying to do more journalling in my own handwriting on my pages. I really prefer printing my journalling blocks because I think it looks so much neater.

What was used:
Basic Grey Olivia Paper
Basic Grey Basic White Paper
Basic Grey Urban Couture Letter Stickers
EK Success Fastenator
Ribbon from my stash

My New Machine

Hello Again,

I wanted to share my latest Cricut buy with you all. I wondered into Michael's on Black Friday to find three E2 Anniversary Edition. I didn't even think they were available anymore. Well I bought one and gave it a nice home.

Notice: my Gypsy is matching the Anniversary Edition

Unfortunately, I have to send it back because its not working properly. It has been cutting my intricate pieces and not working like my other Cricut machines work and not speaking nicely to my Gypsy too!

I do have to say that I LOVE LOVE the gals who work for the Cricut Service department! The Cricut customer service is really wonderful and helpful!

So I have to send my green Anniversary edition back, but I the get the regular grey E2 back. Of course there is the problem of access to my extra two carts that the Anniversary Edition comes with that I won't have access to on the new machine. I was assured that there will be an update to Craftroom so that I will be able to access them, but I would really like to  access all four carts on my Gypsy because I do all my designing on it and not sure how much I will like using Craftroom. The Gypsy is just so much more portable that a laptop and I do use multiple carts on a lot of my projects and would love to incorporate them too.

I will keep you updated and share pictures of my new E2 when it arrives. I wish I didn't have to deal with this problem, but at least I know the Cricut customer service is really helpful.

The carts used for the cuts above are:
Nursery Rhymes, MS Elegant Cakes Art, Calligraphy Collection,

Truck and iPhone Birthday Card

Hello everyone,

Happy New Year! I have neglected my blog for a few weeks but now I am back with a new project. I must say I miss my DT positions as it meant that I would always have a project up on my blog. I am gonna try to load a project or two every week.

This week I am taking part in Celebrate the Occasion's weekly challenge. Their theme is Child's Birthday and I came up with a cute card for a boy. I bought the Boys Will Be Boys cart and I really wanted to use a cut from it. After assembling the card I noticed I missed inking my blue strip of paper, maybe on the next on I will remember.

I am entering it into these challenges:

The second card I want to share with you,  is one I did for my husband's birthday. Today is his birthday and I made this super simple card for him. He loves his iPhone! Isn't that sentiment just perfect for an iPhone lover! Here is the link for the card I made him last year: CLICK HERE.
