Summer In Finland Page

Hello everyone,

I would love to share with you this page of my daughter and her cousin covered in mud from the lake of my in-laws summer place in Finland. Its something that the generations of children do there. My children had so much fun spending time with them and getting better in Finnish. The best part was: my in-laws had them for a whole month, so my husband and I had some time off. It was hard to let them go but I knew they were in good hands and that they were safe.

So here is the page:
I created a pocket to store a news paper article my Father-in-law translated into English for me. The title of the article was 'So You Can Recognize The Symptoms of Budding Cottager-Madness.' The pull-out tag was a comment my sister-in-law made about the photo: "Leikit ne vaan pysyvat samoina suskupolvesta toiseen." This translates to: The games, they remain the same from generation to generation.

What was used:
DCWV Fun in the Sun Stack
American Crafts Thickers Lullaby
Cricut Cursive 101
Recollections Glitter Adhesive Shapes (butterflies)
Stardust Stickles

Celebrate the Occasion Challenge #6: Thank You

Hello everyone,

Its Tuesday time for a new challenge at Celebrate the Occasion. This week's Challenge (#6): Make a 'Thank you' project, but it must have a tag on it. You have until Sunday, March 27th, 11:59pm (EST).  The winner will be selected and entered into the monthly drawing.  March's prize will be "ROCK PRINCESS" cricut cartridge!

I have added quite a few of the things I love to this card: butterflies, Argle paper, polkadots and BLING!

When I just started scrapping it was an advice told to me and I must say its the best advice I ever got in regards to my pages. If you have the perfect idea for a Christmas layout do it in Summer! Who cares as long as your pages are done!
