Disney Princess Card and Trinket Box
I made this card for my daughter who turned 5 years old today! My orders were "Mommy, I want card with three princess on it!'
I used Happily Ever After Cart and my gypsy for this project. The card is the largest I’ve ever made measuring 7.5 x 6 inches when closed. The box is a round wodden box I bought from AC Moore. All the princesses were cut at 3.5 inches. Any smaller and it would be even harder to piece together. I used ALOT of Stickles on this project!

Dinosaur Train Card
I made this card for my son's birthday. He just turned three years old. He loves trains all he talks about is Thomas last year I made him a Thomas card in SCAL. This year he also has a thing for dinosaurs. So I thought of combining both. I used the Create a Critter cart with my Gypsy, for the project. I think Create a Critter cart is a must have for parents with little ones.
Thomas on last year's card:
Dinosaur train card:
I used the Gypsy because I could hide portions of the images I did not want and to save paper. I hid the faces on the train and the sun, so that only the dinosaurs were smiling. Its also nice to hide other portions of the trains so that I didn't have to cut the same thing twice in two different colors. You can still cut the same card without the Gypsy though.
Sizes for the cuttings:
The card base is a folded 8 1/2 X 6 inch piece of cardstock
Patterned piece of paper is 4 X 5 3/4 inch
Palm trees (1 regular and 1 flipped) - 2 1/2 inches
Sun - 1 3/4 inches
Train - 1 3/4 inches, you will also need another train car cut at 2 inches
T-Rex - 2 1/2 inches
Brontosaurus - 2 1/2 inches.
Ink the edges for more definition.
Glue the trees and the sun flush onto the card but use pop-dots to pop up the train and dinosaurs.
Happy cutting everyone!

Desperate to Crop!!
I made this card in Finland, when I was so desperate to crop. I bought two issues of a British magazine: Simply Cards & Papercraft, while I was in Sweden. What I really love about British magazines is they give you little goodies when you purchase them. This magazine had cute paper and images to cut-out for making cards.
This card is all paper!! Only the white flower-shaped ribbon that is wrapped around the middle of the card is not paper!! I cut out two of the little flowers and used pop-dots between them for a 3-D effect, but the photo does not show that well enough. The only tools I used were a pair of scissors, a ruler and a bottle of glue! It makes me think, "do I really need all the gadgets and gears in my scrap-room?" I am sure you all know the answer to that one already!

Kiss Scrapbook page
Hello friends,
I have neglected my blog for sometime now because I have been traveling. I wanted to share this page of my husband and kids. This page was done as part of a sketch challenge with my the ladies of BASF.
The reason I am sharing the page is because my in-laws collected the kids one month ago and took them to Finland, so that my husband and I could have some alone time together. We spent almost three weeks at home, (but I still didn't get as much scrapbooking done as I wanted to, I guess the 100 or so printed photos will be scrapped soon enough!). Then we went to Sweden where I reconnected with a high school friend I haven't seen for 15 years and now we are with the kids in Finland. When I finally saw the kids I could not stop kissing them. Its so funny how they can make you so tired and stressed out, but you wouldn't have it any other way!
Now all I am missing is my scrapbook room! The words KISS was cut with Calligraphy Collection cart.

My Sheri Craft Challenge #11: "Patriotic Week"
Hi Everyone! Its been a while since I posted so I guess I can start with another challenge that got me motivated. I made this card with a wonderful bursting firework SVG file I found somewhere, I can't even remember now. I cut the file twice with DCWV glitter paper with SCAL on my Cricut. Hope you'll enjoy it.
Happy 4th of July!

My Sheri Crafts Challenge # 7 : Flowers
This is quite a simple card but I love the effect. I used Create a Critter Cartridge for the flower and Forever Young for the scalloped ovals. I found the 'happy everything' stamp in the $1 bin at Michael's. What a perfect sentiment!
